Guest Artist Program

Are you, or do you know, a person with a disability that loves to draw, paint, or has another artistic ability?

Could that art make an interesting and printable shirt or cup design?

Artists work with Designed to be YOUnique to transform their unique art into incredible designs for professionally created shirts, cups, and other paraphernalia.

If the artist’s art shows the talent we are searching for, we will work with them to create a design that will spotlight their skills.

Their wearable art and other items will then be listed for sale on DesignedYOUnique.com’s Guest Artists page.

Once listed, the artist will receive a short sleeve white or gray T-shirt with their art printed on it free of charge (other options will be available for customer purchase).

The artist will receive a commission per item sold.

How The Program Works

Our partnership with Aidan (see his Guest Artist page) has shown us how much excitement budding artists get from seeing others wear their art.

When our friend Aidan gave us the idea of including his art on a shirt, we couldn’t resist. It has been more successful than we could have imagined! We had a great time working and creating together. Not only did Aidan’s shirt come out great, he has also earned commissions from multiple sales. He continues to receive orders, and loves seeing other people wear his art.

We were all so excited about working together, and the result, that we wanted to provide the same opportunity for this experience to other artists with disabilities.

Designed to be YOUnique strives to make meaningful work available to people with disabilities, and this program is proving to be another great avenue for everyone involved.
